5. Click “Write” to write data into the memory block. If writing is successful, no error
message appears. To check block data, clear the Data” field and click “Read” to read
data back from the block.
3.3 Configuration for AFI alarm with DiaMond RFID antennae
Select Radio → Tag Parameters and Commands→ISO15693.
In the Parameters tab select Use AFI and select the AFI value. The AFI value representation
is Hexadecimal. This is explained in §9.4.1 ISO 15693 Parameters Tab.
Select Radio → RF Channels Configuration
In the Multiplexer tab push + Add, select tag type ISO15693, set to power slider to the power
for this antenna (3000mW) and select the both Emitter and Receiver for the channel the
antenna is on. Repeat the +Add procedure for all antennae on this controller and then push the
Apply button. This is explained in §7.1.2 Multiplexer Configuration.
In the Read Mode drop down box select Enable Multiplexer and Enable Output Feedback.
This is explained in §8.2.4 Read Mode.
In the Events drop down box select Read Tag, deselect all other settings in this box. This is
explained in §8.2.3 Events.
Save the configuration in memory, see Saving Radio Configuration to NVRAM on page 33.
Select Device → Standalone Mode Configuration. Click the Enable Standalone Mode button.
See §11.2 Enabling standalone mode.
The unit is now functioning in the AFI alarm mode.
