TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
4 Turn the ignition off.
Inspect the #20 Fuse in the PDC.
If the fuse is open, replace with proper rated fuse.
Turn the ignition on for one minute.
Turn the ignition off.
Inspect the #20 Fuse in the PDC.
Is the fuse open?
All
Yes → Repair the Fused Ignition Switch Output (Unlock/Run) circuit for
a short to ground.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → Go To 5
5 Turn the ignition off.
Remove and inspect the #29 Fuse in the PDC.
If the fuse is open, replace with the proper rated fuse.
Turn the ignition on for 1 minute.
Turn the ignition off.
Remove and inspect the #29 Fuse in the PDC.
Is the fuse open?
All
Yes → Repair the Fused Ignition Switch Output (Run/Start) circuit for a
short to ground.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → Go To 6
6 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C1 harness connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage between the Fused Ignition Switch Output (Unlock/Run) circuit
and ground.
Is the voltage below 10.5 volts?
All
Yes → Repair the Fused Ignition Switch Output (Unlock/Run) circuit for
an open.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → Go To 7
7 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C1 harness connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage between the Fused Ignition Switch Output (Run/Start) circuit
and ground.
Is the voltage below 10.5 volts?
All
Yes → Repair the Fused Ignition Switch Output (Run/Start) circuit for
an open.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → Go To 8
