9.3.20. Nozzle tube

Apply sealant (LOCTITE # 620) to the nozzle tube and place the O-ring over the cylinder
head fitting face on the nozzle tube, then install the nozzle tube in the cylinder head.

Install a guider of the nozzle tube insert
assÕy (Guider + Expander) the cylinder
head, then tighten the nozzle fixing nuts.
¥
Apply engine oil to an expander and
install it onto the special tool (guider).
¥
Tighten the bolts until the expander is
forced out of the cylinder head bottom.
¥
After mounting the nozzle tube, make a
hydraulic test to check for water leaks.
9.3.21. Cylinder head
¥
Install the injection nozzle fixing stud
bolts and water pipe fixing stud bolts.
¥
Clean the head bolt holes on the cylin-
der block with compressed air to remove
foreign substances and thoroughly
clean the gasket fitting face of the cylin-
der block.
¥
Install head gasket, with 'TOP' mark fac-
ing upward, on the cylinder block by
aligning the holes with dowels.
