9.1.41. Timing gear case

Unscrew the case fixing bolts and disas-
semble the timing gear case.
9.1.42. Crankshaft

Remove the bolts from bearing caps.
¥
Remove the main bearing cap fixing
bolts in the order of assembling.
¥
(Remove them in the same way of the
cylinder head bolts.)
¥
Maintain the removed bearing caps in
the order of cylinders.
¥
Temporarily install the bolts at the both
side of crankshaft, and lift the shaft with
a rope.
NOTE : Do not mingle with the metal
bearings and bearing caps ran-
domly. To prevent mixing, tem-
porarily assemble the metal
bearings to the corresponding
bearing caps in turn.
9.1.43. Oil spray nozzle

Unscrew the fixing bolt and remove the
oil spray nozzles.
