J.6 Clearing a Breach
Opening the bezel any time after the alarm is set will constitute a security breach. The annunciator
will sound a constant alarm (according to the 56.05 time setting) and the display will show “Closed”.
If a transaction is in progress it will end and a new transaction will not be able to be started until the
breach is cleared.
J.6.1 One-Shot Control Breach Clear
1. Close and re-secure the bezel. This should stop the beeper if it is still sounding.
2. Point the IR remote towards the main dispenser display and press “5”. The volume display
will show
Func.
3. Press “56” followed by the “Enter” button. The volume display will show
Sub.
4. Press “00” followed by “Enter”. (Be sure to press the “0” button twice. Only one “0” will
appear in the display.) The display will show
560xxxxxxxxx. This is the Challenge code.
5. Contact DFS Support Center (1-800-926-3737) or use your smartphone or laptop device to
log in through the Wayne Portal (
https://portal.wayne.com) and provide the “Challenge code”.
6. With the “Challenge code” still showing on the display, press the “Enter” button on the IR
remote. The display will show “Pass 1”. Key in the “Response code” followed by “Enter”.
7. Key in the “Response code” again followed by “Enter”.
8. Press the “Enter” key 3 times to return to the idle state.
9. In 1 minute the dispenser will be armed, will display
Secure On, and the dispenser should
return to the idle state.
J.6.2 Localized Control Breach Clear
1. Close and re-secure the bezel. This should stop the beeper if it is still sounding.
2. Point the hand-held remote device towards the main dispenser display and press “Enter”.
3. At
Pass 1 on the display, key in the Local or Maintenance Mode password and press “Enter”.
4. At
Pass 2 repeat keying in the password and press “Enter”.
5. Press the “Enter” key 3 times to return to the idle state.
6. In 1 minute the dispenser will be armed, will display
Secure On, and the dispenser should
return to the idle state.
