K.4 Paper Jams
The photos in this section demonstrate how to clear paper jams. When a paper jam occurs, the
status light will flash as describer earlier in this Appendix. Typical 1 flash and 5 flash errors are
shown in the following examples.
Do Not Use Sharp Object or Tools to Clear Paper Jams

Do not use screwdrivers, knives, paper clips or other sharp objects to clear paper jams.
 Only clear paper jams by following the procedures in this manual.
Clearing Paper Jams – 1 Flash Error
Paper Jam – 1 Flash Error
Push in the tabs of the paper guide as shown.
Lift paper guide and remove paper.
Press the Feed button to advance the paper and print a test receipt.
