Pulse Tone Source
You can select either ECG or SpO
2
as the pulse tone source. With
ECG as the pulse tone source, the tone’s pitch is constant (rather
than modulated -- see the chapter Pulse Oximetry) and a pulsating
symbol appears in the HR parameter box with each detected
heart beat.
STEPS: Selecting the Pulse Tone Source
1. Click on the HR parameter box.
2. Click on
Tone Source.
3. Select
ECG and click the knob.
