84 Instructions for use Polaris 600
Adjusting the spring force
The spring arm is fitted with a spring which
counterbalances the weight of the light/display
mount.
Adjust the spring force so that the spring arm with
light/display mount automatically remains in any
position.
During the adjustment, care must always be taken
to ensure that any electrical cables in the spring
arm remain centrally positioned and do not slip
under other components.
For simplification, the illustration shows the spring
arm without light/display mount.
Adjustment
1 Insert a suitable slotted screwdriver into the
opening (4).
2 Press the screwdriver upwards a little and
guide the snap-in hook (1) out of the cover.
3 Push the screwdriver with the panel (3) to the
rear.
4 Move the spring arm upwards by approx. +5
o
to +10
o
in order to relieve the adjusting screw.
5 Carefully move any electrical cables (6) to the
side and insert a 5 mm Allen key into the
adjustment opening (5).

low
Turn the Allen key left (counterclockwise).
If the spring arm rises, the spring force is too
high
Turn the Allen key right (clockwise).
