LUBRIFICAZIONE DELLA CATENA
La catena del Suo motociclo è provvista di anelli
OR per proteggere gli elementi di scorrimento
dagli agenti esterni e mantenere più a lungo la
lubrificazione. Per non danneggiare queste
guarnizioni utilizzate per la pulizia della catena
gasolio o kerosene. Altri solventi non specifici
per catene con OR o un lavaggio troppo violento
con idropulitrici a vapore potrebbe danneggiarli
irrimediabilmente. Dopo la pulizia asciugate la
catena con aria compressa o con materiale
assorbente e lubrificatela in ogni suo elemento
con il lubrificante prescritto (vedi a pag. 110).
Importante
L’utilizzo di lubrificanti non specifici
potrebbe danneggiare drasticamente la catena
stessa, la corona e il pignone motore.
CHAIN LUBRICATION
The chain fitted on your motorcycle has OR seals
that keep dirt out of and lubricant inside the
sliding parts. Use gasoline or kerosene to clean
the chain to avoid damage to these OR seals.
The seals might be irreparably damaged if the
chain is cleaned using any solvent other than
those specific for OR chains or washed using
steam or water jets. After cleaning, blow the
chain dry and apply the recommended lubricant
on each link (see page 112).
Important
Using non-specific lubricants may lead to
severe damage to chain, front and rear sprocket.
GRAISSAGE DE LA CHAINE
La chaîne de votre motocycle est pourvue de
joints toriques à protection des organes de
coulissement contre les agents extérieurs et
pour un maintien prolongé du graissage. Afin de
ne pas endommager ces joints, utilisez du gasoil
ou kérosène. D’autres solvants non appropriés
aux chaînes avec OR, ou un lavage trop violent
par des machines à jets de vapeur, pourraient les
endommager irrémédiablement. Après le
nettoyage, séchez la chaîne à l’air comprimé, ou
à l’aide de matière absorbante et graissez-la à
chacun de ses élément avec la graisse conseillée
(voir la page 114).
Important
L’utilisation de lubrifiants non spécifiques
pourrait endommager sérieusement la chaîne, la
couronne et le pignon moteur.
