2.12 Reference position - Starting the sewing cycle - Quick stop
Reference position
The reference position is necessary in order to get a defined initial
position.
–
Switchthemainswitchon.
The control is initialized.
–
The DÜRKOPP-ADLER logo briefly appears on the screen.
–
The control checks whether the transport carriage is in its rear end
position.
If this is not the case, the display shows the message “Reference
run”.
Caution: Danger of injury!
Danger of suffering bruising between folder and rest table.

Step back on the left pedal.
The reference run starts.
The transport carriage runs in its rear end position.
–
The display changes to the main screen of the s ewing unit.
Starting the sew ing cycle
–
Step forward on the left pedal.
By repeated stepping on the left pedal the various steps of the
positioning process are started sequentially.
The individual steps are dependent on the working method
(A,D,B,F) and the equipment of the sewing unit
(see chapter 2.15).
–
For positioning corrections:
Step back on the left pedal.
The last step of the positioning process is undone.
A new positioning can be made.
–
Step forward on the left pedal.
The sewing cycle is started.
