4. <Noise Level>
After the time scan of 300S at 500.0nm, DB-20 will identify the maximum
value and the minimum value of the measured data. The noise level value is the
difference between the maximum value and the minimum value (peak to peak).
If the noise level value is within the range of 0.001ABS, the item will display
<OK>.
5. <Baseline Stability>
After the time scans of 3600S at 500.0nm, the peak-to-peak value of the
wavelength scan is defined as baseline stability value. If this value is within the
range of 0.001ABS, this item will display <OK>.
6. <Baseline Flatness>
DB-20 will perform a wavelength scan from 950.0nm to 200.0nm twice. The
first time the measured data is recorded as the baseline, and the second group
of data is defined as absorbance. The maximum value and the minimum value
will be identified in this scan. The result (Max-Min)/2 is defined as baseline
flatness. If the value is within the range of (
±0.004ABS), the baseline flatness
item will display as <OK>.
When one function is completed, the system display <OK> or <NG> message
as described in the above.
