Chapter 1 Installation
1.1 Unpacking
After unpacking the shipping crate, carefully take out the spectrophotometer and
place it on a table.
Since the spectrophotometer is as heavy as about 29 kg, special attention should be
paid when taking it out.

Note: The light source-switching mirror is secured with the sponge
rubber material for transport at shipment from the factory. After
using, open the light source cover and remove the protective
sponge from the light source-switching mirror.
The shipping crate cannot be claimed for compensation even if it
is damaged during the transportation.
