1. Select Time Scan from the Main menu.
2. Set the operating conditions as follows:

UP Scale 0.001
LO Scale -0.001

D2 Lamp ON
Response Medium
3. After setting up the conditions, press 0 to display the measurement screen.
4. Verify that the Sample and Reference cuvette holders are empty. And then
press Auto Zero.
5. Press START to start a measurement.
6. After measurement, check the baseline stability as shown figure below:

4.2.4 Confirmation of Baseline Flatness
Be sure to warm up the instrument sufficiently (approx. 2 hours), and then
proceed as instructed below:
1. Select Wavelength Scan from the Main menu.
2. Set the operating conditions as follows:

Start WL (nm) 950
Stop WL (nm) 200
Scan Speed (nm/min) 400
UP Scale 0.005
LO Scale -0.005
