28. With an 11mm hex socket, remove sixteen capscrews
securing the rear case to the front case, being thirteen
above (Figure A) and three from underneath (Figure B)
the ange.

29. With an 11mm hex socket, remove the reverse idle gear
shaft retaining bolt and plate.
30. Install the tool EEA-17141 with adapter EEA-17142 into
the threaded bore at the end of reverse idle gear shaft.
Using the impact slide hammer, remove the reverse idle
gear shaft together with the O-ring.
