17. Install the reverse speed gear with the teeth side facing
up.
18. Heat the reverse speed coupling hub to 140°C and, with
special tool EEA-17029 and a hammer, mount the hub
in its position in the shaft, until the hub touches the snap
ring.
19. With the special tool EEA-17027 and a hammer, install
the rear bearing cone.
NOTE: If needed, heat the bearing to 120°C to
facilitate the installation.
20. Invert the mainshaft position on the bench, placing it on
the tool supported by the yoke end.
