20. From the front side of the transmission, install the three
retaining capscrews of the shift rails’ front support. Use
an 11mm hex socket.
NOTE: Apply Dow Corning 780 sealant onto the
capscrew contact surfaces. Tighten capscrews to
the torque of 19-26 N.m (14-19 Lb.ft)

21. Install the two pivot pins of the 5th/6th shift yoke (one
at each side of the case). Use a 13mm hex socket.
NOTE: Apply Dow Corning 780 sealant onto the
threads and contact face of the pins. Tighten to the
torque of 19-26 N.m (14-19 Lb.ft).

22. Using a pry bar, shift into the 2nd speed by pushing the
1st/2nd gear synchronizer sleeve downward.
