This manual is designed to provide detailed information necessary to service and repair the
Eaton transmission FSO-2405.
Disassembly and assembly instructions in this manual make use of a typical FSO-2405
transmission. Provided ilustrations and pictures show parts that may differ from one transmission
model to another, according to its application and serial number.
In addition, it is also assumed that the transmission has been removed from the vehicle and
the lubricant has been drained.
The manual has been divided into two main groups as follows:
1. Information and technical references, placed all together into one section.
2. Disassembly and assembly instructions, by its turn, divided into sections gathering specific
component assemblies.
