3.5.3 Fixing the cable cores
Universal cable core clamps.
Universal cable core clamps can be used for connecting:
 PILC cables with copper cores up to 3 x 70 mm

Concentric cable core clamps.
Concentric cable core clamps are used for:
 PILC cables with copper cores ranging from 3 x 95
mm

up to 3 x 240 mm

 XLPE cables with copper cores ranging from
3 x 95 mm

up to 3 x 240 mm

Concentric cable core clamps comprise:
 1 connecting piece (1);
 2 clamping rings with hexagon socket head screws
(2).
 1 gland (3).

Aluminium crimp cable clamps
Aluminium cables are to be connected to the Magnefix
copper connection pins using copper/aluminium crimp
cable sockets.
This prevents stress corrosion.
