5.2.2 Procedure
 Isolate the entire switchgear.
 Release the switch springs of the vacuum circuit-
breaker, if fitted, by pushing the button (o) (position
indicator is white).
 Or:
 Dismantle the cable boxes and detach the cables;
 Cut the cables.
 Remove the switchgear in its entirety.
 Or:
 Send the switchgear complete to Eaton for further
processing;
 Clean the switchgear thoroughly and store it for re-
use;
 Make an appointment with Eaton to have the
switchgearoverhauled.
NOTE
Do not dismantle the switchgear into loose parts,
if it is to be reused.
5.2.3 Disposal
Magnefix switchgear is to be disposed of in an
environmentally responsible manner.
Substances and materials released are to be destroyed, re-
used or disposed of in accordance with the regulations in
force at the time.
