4.8.3 Phase sequence testing
In order to carry out phase sequence testing, the cable is to
be connected inductively to suitable measuring equipment
(e.g. MUCO phase sequence testing unit).
The earthing caps with extended connection pins
are used.
Procedure:
1. Isolate the installation.
2. Provide earthing using the earthing caps with
extended connection pins and the earthing spider.
Do not remove the short-circuit strip nor the
earthing spider.

3. For each phase, place the induction coil of the testing
unit around the extended connection pin, between the
earthing cap and the short-circuit strip.
4. Perform the measurement.
5. Remove all measurement connections.
