Measurement of the real alternating current
The reading of the real current, linked to the resistance, is obtained through a shunt located di-
rectly in the test circuit
By a PASS or FAIL colour message on the LCD display and an audible signal
Current in case of a fault (IMAX mode)
In the event of a fault, the high voltage cut occurs without overvoltage.
No time is applied to the test or the measurement. The control of the voltage is manual by action
on the up and down arrows of the LCD screen. The test or the measurement is stopped only if a
fault occurs or if the user requests to stop the test by pressing the red button on the front panel.
A rise time is applied to the test and then the output voltage is equal to the set point. The test or
the measurement is stopped only if a fault occurs or if the user requests to stop the test by
pressing the red button on the front panel.
In AUTO mode: The test consists of 3 successive phases (7 phases in multi-slope mode) during
which the voltage increases linearly up to the desired value (Rise), is maintained at the pro-
grammed value (Hold) and is then gradually reduced to 0 (Fall)
Rise and Fall programmable from
0.0 to 9999.0 sec. in steps of > 0.1 s.
0.1 to 9999.0 sec. in steps of > 0.1 s.
