Hot-Swapping a 9216-DCPS or
9216-ACPS Module
AS9216 has two redundant 9216-DCPS or 9216-ACPS power supplies. It can
operate with one connected and active power supply or with two active power
supplies.
When the 9216-DCPS or the 9216-ACPS module is active, you can remove or
replace one without interrupting the AS9216 operation.
To replace a 9216-DCPS or 9216-ACPS:
WARNING: Before removing the 9216-DCPS or
9216-ACPS, verify that the power to it is turned off as
detailed below.
1. Disconnect the power from the 9216-DCPS or 9216-ACPS:
 AC units: turn off the unit's power button
 DC units: turn off the power to the feed lines at the supply circuit
breaker or disconnect it from the power bus
2. Disconnect the power cable from the 9216-DCPS or 9216-ACPS.
3. Release the 2 panel screws of the 9216-DCPS or 9216-ACPS.
