Initial Configuration
Upon the initial access to the device through the device console port, you need
to define the device's initial parameters. These initial parameters are stored in a
non-volatile memory using the Command Line Interface (CLI).
To define the device's initial parameters, follow the below
steps:
1. Connect the device to a PC, using the console port and start a terminal
application.
2. Connect the device to the power supply.
3. The device starts up, running startup self tests.
4. When the device is ready, a screen similar to the following example
appears on the console port:
device-name
admin connected from 127.0.0.1 using console on (Device)
device-name#
5. Type the following commands:
