CAUTION!
Risk of damage to components sensitive to electrostatic discharge!
The control PCB contains components sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
These can be destroyed by improper handling:
–
Touch electronic components only if it is unavoidable due to the work to be
carried out on them.
– If parts must be touched, discharge your body immediately before.
– Wear an ESD wrist strap during the work and establish potential
equalisation to the component.
– Place components only on conductive surfaces.
– Store or ship components only in antistatic packaging.
NOTICE!
Risk of incorrect measurements and error messages
The measurement method is susceptible to electromagnetic fields and
influences. These can lead to incorrect measurements and error messages:
–
Do not install the unit, measurement cell, measurement cell cable or signal
line near frequency-controlled motors, mobile communication antennas, or
wireless LAN antennas.
– Lay the measuring cell cables and signal cables as far away as possible
from electric motors and frequency converters.
– Do not lay measurement cell cables and signal cables together with high-
energy cables in a cable duct.
NOTICE!
Risk of incorrect measurements and error messages
If large distances have to be bridged between the controller and the metering
technology
, there is a risk of malfunctions and error messages due to voltage
drops in the signal lines:
– For long distances (< 50 m), use signal lines with at least 1 mm², ideally 1.5
mm² or thicker.
– For long distances, use a control cabinet/PLC near the dosing technology
to be able to switch off the metering technology onsite in case work is
needed on the unit.
Requirements:
n The Ecoplus EXN-II is correctly assembled.
n The supplied power transformer is connected to the dishwasher power supply in such
a way that it is supplied with power when the dishwasher is switched on.
