9.2.2 Gas ballast adaptor
A gas ballast adaptor may be ed in place of the gas ballast control on the pump. The
adaptor allows a controlled supply of inert gas to be connected to the pump.

9.2.3 Gas ballast adaptor blank
This adaptor kit allows the conversion of a standard nXDS pump into an nXDS‑R version.
The gas ballast control is replaced with a blank adaptor so that the gas ballast cannot be
accidentally opened. This feature is useful for applicaons such as rare gas recirculaon
or gas recovery. Another advantage is improved leak ghtness at this locaon.

9.2.4 Vibraon isolators
Fit vibraon isolators to the pump to reduce the transmied vibraon from the pump to
a structure, such as a frame or a system.

9.2.5 Inlet/exhaust lt
er
The inlet dust lter has two funcons. It can be connected inline between the pump
inlet and your chamber outlet connecon to prevent dust from migrang into your
system. Alternavely, it can be connected inline between the pump exhaust and your
exhaust extracon system. The lter is supplied ready to use with a 5 mm element.
