Silent Installations and Removals
-s
Indicates a silent removal. A silent removal requires no user
input after you enter the command.
-f1fullpath\responsefilename
Specifies the full pathname of the response file created in step
5 on page A-24.
-f2fullpath\logfilename
Specifies the full pathname and filename of the log file.
Example:
RunDll32
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\engine\6\INTEL3
~1\ctor.dll,LaunchSetup "C:\Program Files\InstallShield

-f1E:\aSafeDir\serverutilUninst.iss

where -s specifies a silent operation will be performed, in this
case a removal, using the response file recorded in
E:\aSafeDir\serverutilUninst.iss. It will then log the result in
-f2C:\aLocalSafeDir\serverutilUninst.log.
3. Verify that the removal was successful (refer to the next section,
Verifying the silent installation or removal) before running the
command on all the other attached Windows servers.
4. If the removal was successful, repeat steps 1 and 2 on page A-24
on all remaining attached Windows servers.
