Section 8: Utilizing IOLM Features
This section discusses using the following features:
1. Setting User Accounts and Passwords
2. Data Storage which provides automatic and manual data storage to upload or download IO-
Link v1.1 device parameters
3. Device Validation which supports identical or compatible device validation to dedicate a port
or ports to specific IO-Link devices
4. Data Validation which supports strict or loose data validation to verify data integrity
5. IOLM Configuration Files that supports a method to back up configuration files or load the same
configuration to multiple IOLM units
6. Configuring Miscellaneous Settings which provides the following options:
a. Using the Menu Bar Hover Shows Submenu Option
b. Enable PDO Write From Attached Devices Port Page
c. IO-Link Test Event Generator
7. Clearing Settings which allows you to reset the IOLM to factory default values
Note: You must configure data storage, device validation, data validation in PROFINET IO using PAC
Machine Edition. You can use data stored on the web page for temporary data storage-related tasks.
