9 Fibre blowing
Blowing Unit 2A ~ Blowing Head
The blowing head feeds the fi bre unit and compressed air into either 5mm / 8mm or 3mm / 6mm outside diameter blown fi bre micro-duct.
Electrically driven feed wheels within the blowing head control the speed of the fi bre unit. Maximum speed of 55m/minute is possible. It contains
two pairs of optical devices that continually monitor the buckle status of the fi bre.
