9 Fibre blowing
Coiler Extension Set Up (7782 and 7789)
These parts are intended to be used when coiling into a large (deep) fibre pan. Emtelle recommend the use of a Coiler Fibre Guide (product code
7789) when coiling into this size of pan.
Equipment Required
2.5mm Allen Key
Sequence of Operations
1. Remove the coiler head. Place
the coiler fibre guide as shown
onto the centre of the PAN.
4. Tighten the grub screw onto
one of the sides of the drive
shaft. Do not tighten onto a
corner of the drive shaft.
7. Carefully place the coiler
head over the drive extension
and re-fit.
2. Insert the Allen Key into the
Grub screw as shown
5. Place the spacer sleeve over
the drive extension. Locate
the pins on the coiler into the
holes of the spacer m/d
8. The pins in the spacer
sleeve
will fit into the holes of the
coiling head
3. Place the drive extension
over the drive shaft of the
coiler motor.
6. Spacer sleeve fitted.
9. The extension in place.
