Do you have a question about the eove EO-70 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The EOVE EO-70 Secretion Management Device (SMD) is designed to assist adult and pediatric patients weighing at least 5 kg (11 lbs) who require support in managing their secretions. It offers two primary treatment modes: Insufflation – Exsufflation (INEX) and Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing (IPPB). The device is suitable for use in home, institutional, and hospital settings, accommodating both invasive and non-invasive interfaces such as masks, mouthpieces, or tracheostomy tubes. While transportable, it is not intended for use during transport.

Function Description:

The EO-70 provides mechanical insufflation and exsufflation to clear secretions from the airways. In INEX mode, it delivers positive pressure to inflate the lungs (insufflation) followed by negative pressure to assist with exhalation (exsufflation), simulating a cough. In IPPB mode, it delivers positive pressure breaths to assist with inspiration. The device can be operated in either manual or automatic modes, with various adjustable parameters to customize treatment. A coaching function, featuring animated visuals (chameleon and balloon), is available to guide patients through treatment phases, particularly in INEX Auto mode and IPPB mode, helping them synchronize with the device's cycles.
