J (environmental temperature and humidity)
Displays the current temperature and humidity. Press this area to view a range of the printer's operating tem-
perature and humidity. You may not be able to print correctly unless you use the printer under the appropri-
ate environmental conditions.
K / (Switch connection status)
The following icons indicate the connection status between the computer and the printer.

The connection turns on or off every time this area is pressed.
For example, you can finish work more efficiently by turning the connection off to prevent jobs from being
received before performing maintenance such as printing a nozzle check pattern or executing Print Head Clean-
ing after cleaning around the print head.
Note that you may not be able to switch depending on the operating status of the printer. In this situation, the
icon is grayed out indicating that the function is disabled.
L (Switch screens)
Switch between the home screen and the startup adjustment screen every time this area is pressed.
M (Inside light)
Switches the internal lamp on or off. Press this area to turn off the inside light, when it is on. Pressing it while
the inside light is off, turns it on.
You may not be able to turn this on/off depending on the operating status of the printer. In this situation, the
icon is grayed out indicating that the function is disabled.
N (feed media to cutting position)
Depending on the settings for the currently selected registered media, the end of the print may be on the
platen after printing is complete.
If you want to send the end of the print to the cutting position, you can press this area to feed the media to the
cutting position. Furthermore, if you perform an operation to feed the end of the print to the cutting position
while it is in the cutting position, the print start position on the platen is fed to the cutting position.
