Note *1: There are two kinds of adjustment to the PF deterioration adjustment:
“initialize PF deterioration offset” and “disenable PF deterioration offset”.
*2: If the printer you make repairs on is equipped with an ASF frame for Stylus
CX4700/CX4800/DX4800/DX4850, following values should be
entered in advance:
Address 5A<H> Data 39 <H>
If the printer is equipped with an ASF frame for Stylus CX4500/CX4600 (first mass
production of IEI Stylus CX4700/CX4800/DX4800/DX4850), these values need not
to be entered.

C A U T I O N
When the Main board is replaced with a new one, you may have
to replace waste drain ink pad also in case the EEPROM
parameter back up function is not available on the defective
main board.
After completing the adjustment, check the printing result with
A4 check pattern by using the Adjustment program.
If the result is not good, perform appropriate adjustment.
If using new main board in the printer mechanism replacement,
you need to perform EEPROM initial setting of main board.
And then, please perform the adjustment by usual procedure.
