Cutter Unit 1. Check to see if the fixed cutting edge is damaged. 1. Replace the Cutter Unit.
At the stage of roll paper
cutting, the CR Unit
moves to the home
position and error display
occurs.
Cutter Motor 1. Check to see if the cutter motor connector cable is
connected to CN17 on the Main Board.
2. Check to see if the cutter motor connector cable is
damaged.
1. Connect the cutter motor connector cable to
CN17 on the Main Board.
2. Replace the cutter motor with a new one.
CT sensor 1. Check to see if the CT sensor is installed properly inside
the cutter mechanism.
2. Check to see if the connector cable is connected to the
CT sensor.
3. Check to see if the CT sensor connector cable is
connected to CN15 on the Main Board.
4. Using a circuit tester, check to see if the CT sensor
operates properly. (See Table 3-2)
1. Install the CT sensor properly.
2. Connect the connector cable to the CT sensor.
3. Connect the CT sensor connector cable to the
CN15 on the Main Board.
4. Replace the CT sensor with a new one.
