2.2.2 Carriage (CR) Mechanism
To ensure reliable and high-precision printing on wide-width paper (Stylus Pro 9400/
9800 support B0 size, and Stylus Pro 7400/7800 support A1 size), the printer is
equipped with a unique carriage mechanism which enables stable and high-precision
movement of the on-carriage head.
The carriage mechanism consists of the following components.
CR unit
CR motor
CR HP sensor
CR encoder sensor
PG HP sensor
P EDGE sensor
Ink mark sensor
Cutter Solenoid
