5.2.8 Air Leak Check
The ink supply path should be checked for air leaks whenever the Ink Tube, Ink
Cartridge Holder or Dampers are replaced, or the joint of the Ink Cartridge Holder and
the Damper is once loosened and retightened.
 Required Tool
Air Leak Measurement Jig (with digital pressure gauge GC66)
 Procedure
1. Remove the seal cap of the Measurement Cartridge.
2. Insert the Measurement Cartridge into the Ink Cartridge Slot of the printer and
lower the Ink Lever.
3. Press the green button on the pressure gauge to turn the gauge ON.

Do not touch or press the regulator located under the regulator
guard plate.
