Removing the pump unit with
applicator

Press the selection button next to the menu item EJECT. The pump unit unlocks.
Observe the instructions on the display. Remove the pump unit. Dispose of the
pump unit and applicator.
Detaching the vacuum hose from
ESM 2
Note: The vacuum hose can remain attached to the suction container for the next ap-
plication.
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose (together with the membrane filter) from the ESM 2.
2. Separate the membrane filter from the vacuum hose and dispose of the mem-
brane filter is a suitable way.
Dismantling the suction container
and mounting bracket
If you want to undertake cleaning going beyond wipe disinfection:
1. Separate the vacuum hose from the suction container and pull the suction con-
tainer out of the mounting bracket.
2. Remove the mounting bracket from the bracket.

WARNING
The unit is contaminated
Danger of infection to the patient and medical personnel.
Follow the instructions for cleaning and disinfecting the unit.
WARNING
Alternate use of disinfectant solutions based on different active
ingredients
The agents may affect one another. The disinfection effect of the dis-
infectant solution may be weakened. Danger of infection to the pa-
tient and medical personnel.
The housing plastic may become brittle and break. A color reaction
may occur with plastics.
Do not use these substances alternately.
WARNING
Connection of unit / cart and power supply during cleaning and
disinfection
Risk of electric shock to the medical personnel!
Switch off the unit. Unplug the power cord of the unit / cart.
