Compatible units
You can connect ERBEJET 2 with the Erbe ESM 2 suction module via an ECB cable. In
this case, the units communicate with each other.
You cannot connect suction systems from other manufacturers to ERBEJET 2 using an
ECB cable.
With hybrid instruments, you can use ERBEJET 2 and other Erbe units simultaneously,
without the units being connected via an ECB cable. In this case, the units do not com
-
municate with each other.
Compatible pump cartridges
You can only connect Erbe pump cartridges to the ERBEJET 2.
Compatible instruments
You can only connect Erbe instruments, applicators and probes to the ERBEJET 2.
You can connect instruments, applicators and probes to the ERBEJET 2 using an Erbe-
specific connection on the pump cartridge. You may only connect them to the
ERBEJET
2 if compatibility with the ERBEJET 2 is indicated in the user manual for the
instrument, the probe or the applicator. Please see the Erbe accessories catalog.
You can connect the suction hose from Erbe applicators for ERBEJET 2 with suction
systems from other manufacturers. The vacuum of the suction system must not be
more than -800 mbar.
Compatible footswitches
You can only connect Erbe footswitches to the ERBEJET 2. You can connect a single-
pedal or a dual-pedal footswitch.
