f. Select “File” then “Open”, and navigate to the relevant folder to select the
Generic H248 Virtual Gateway file:-
For all sites this will be “Generic H248 VGW Configuration Slots 3 to
21.hvgw”.
g. Select “Open” then the H248 Virtual Gateway table will be filled in with
information for all 10 POTS card positions as shown in the following
screen:-
h. The displayed screen .will default to the “Gateway 1” tab.
Note: The “Generic H248 VGW Configuration Slots 3 to 21.hvgw” file
will load data for ten POTS cards, for slots 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 and
21.
i. Identify which slots have POTS cards installed in the node. Then the rows
shown in “Gateway 1” tab which have unequipped POTS cards must be
deleted.
