5-23 Power indicator of relay box does not light up
Main causes when power indicator of relay box does not light up:
・ Blowout of a fuse
・ Failure of switching power supply assy
・ Failure of control board assy, printer control board assy, relay board assy, communication
board assy, motor control board assy or motor drive board assy
The power indicator of the relay box does not light up.
OK
Failure of the board of the relay box.
Replace the failed board.

Is the switching power supply normal?
【Refer to “Checking procedures of the switching
power supply” on P38.】
NO
Replace the switching power supply assy.
Is the fuse blown out?
(Note) Make sure to plug out after checking.

Replace the fuse.

Does the power indicator of the relay box light up?
Pug out the communication cable which
connects the controller and the relay box.
NO
YES
Does the power indicator of the relay box light up?
Failure of the board of the controller.
Replace the failed board.

Plug out the communication cable
which connects the head and relay box.
Does the power indicator of the relay box light up?
Failure of the board of the head.
Replace the failed board.
