8-2-3 Replacement of operation dial assy, Operation unit case assy,
operation board assy and operation harness
1) Remove the LCD assy, the body case 1 and 2, and the LCD case 2 (refer to 8-2-1 and
8-2-2).
2) Remove the operation unit assy after unscrewing 8 fixing screws and removing the
operation unit harnesses on the side of the operation unit.
3) Remove the operation board assy after removing the operation dial assy.
The operation dial assy and the operation board assy are fixed with 4 tabs.
The tabs are placed at where 4 ribs are not placed.
Insert the small flat-blade screwdriver in the clearance of the leg of the dial which can be
seen from the backside of the operation unit assy. Lift the leg which has a tab and unfix
the tab from the operation board. Press the tab not to be back in and unfix the second leg.
After 2 tabs are unfixed, rotate the dial and unfix the other tabs and remove the operation
dial assy.
