Overview

The PISA-E11 is a Single Board Computer (SBC) designed to support Intel Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, Pentium-M, Celeron-M, or ULV CPUs, catering to both high-performance and low-power demands. It utilizes a standard PISA form factor and offers a rich set of I/O functions.

  • Processor Support:

    • Intel Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, Core Solo, Celeron-M CPU.
    • Front Side Bus speed: 533MHz or 667MHz.
    • Micro-FCPGA478 Socket-M.
  • Major Chipset:

    • Intel 945GME and ICH7M chipset.
    • RealTek RTL8111C LAN chip.
    • Winbond 83627HF Super I/O.
    • ALC888 High-Definition Audio chip.
  • System Memory:

    • One DDR2 SO-DIMM Socket.

  • Hardware Monitor:

    • 83627HF integrated hardware monitor chip to monitor Voltages, temperatures, and FAN speed.
    • Temperature Monitor: One sensor near the CPU socket for CPU temperature detection, and one sensor near the 83627HF chip for board temperature detection.
    • One CPU FAN connector for CPU cooler and one SYS FAN connector for chassis FAN. All FAN speeds are monitored.
  • 10/100M/1000M Ethernet:

    • Two Realtek RT8111C chips on board for dual GbE LAN support.
    • Supports Wake-on-LAN.
    • Remote Boot Agent is supported with PXE or RTL protocol.
  • PIDE and SATA:

    • PIDE controller built into ICH7M supporting up to UltraDMA mode 5 or ATA100 speed.
    • One standard 44-pins Box header to support 2.5" HDD or DOM Flash Disk.
    • One Compact Flash-II socket shared with PIDE Channel, with a jumper to select as Master or Slave device.

    • PC Health Status: Provides real-time monitoring of CPU temperature, system temperature, CPU FAN speed, chassis FAN speed, and various voltages (+1.5V, +3.3V, +5V, +12V, -12V, VBAT(V), 5VSB(V)). Allows setting of CPU Warning Temperature and Shutdown Temperature.
    • Frequency/Voltage Control: Configures Spread Spectrum settings.

Maintenance Features:

  • CMOS Clear Jumper: A 3-pin jumper (JP1) allows users to clear the CMOS RAM data by disconnecting the built-in 3V battery power.
  • BIOS Update: The 8Mbit FlashROM with BootBlock supports BIOS utility for field updates, ensuring the system can be kept current.
  • Watchdog Timer: Can be enabled/disabled and programmed to generate a system reset, aiding in system recovery from hangs.
