DXP HD 4K PLUS Series • SIS Configuration and Control 45
X2#
= Verbose mode
0 = None (default for LAN connection)
1 = Verbose mode (default for RS-232 and USB
connection)
2 = Tagged responses to queries
3 = Verbose mode and tagged responses
NOTES:
• In verbose response mode, the DXP
returns unsolicited responses for value
and setting changes that may result from
a signal change, or a setting adjustment
made via another interface.
Example: The DXP can send out a notice
of a change in some setting without
receiving a query via a PC or a control
system. That change could have been a
result of an internal process or a selection
made via the PCS program. This is a
verbose (wordy) relationship between the
controller and a connected device.
• If tagged responses are enabled, all
“view” commands return the command
string plus the data, the same as in
responses for setting a value.
For example:
Command:
X!
*\
Response: Vtyp
X!
*

(tagged) or
X#]
(untagged)
