Reset flash memory

Clear the flash memory.
Reset all device settings to

Absolute system reset

Reset all device settings, including
DHCP (off) and IP settings. The
default IP address after reset is
192.168.254.254.
NOTE: Entering this command or performing a mode 5 reset via the rear panel Reset button (see Reset
Modes Summary on page34) removes the current passwords (whether user-set or the factory-set
serial number), leaving the unit with no password.
Reset all device settings and
delete files

Reset all device settings, excluding IP
settings.
Reset mutes

Unmute all muted outputs.
Reboot network

Restart the network after IP setting or
DHCP changes.
Power Save Mode
NOTE: In power save modes 1 and 2 (X2$ = 1 or 2), the cooling fans slow to save power.
Set power save mode
EX2$PSAV} PsavX2$] Set the power save mode to X2$.
NOTE: The switcher returns to normal mode (X2$ = 0) when you use the front panel, issue the E0PSAV}
command, connect via PCS, or cycle power.

connect via PCS, or cycle power.

Set to normal operation (default).

X2$ = Power save mode
0 = normal operation (default)
1 = limited functionality — Turn off all functions except IP,
USB, and RS-232 ports, and slow fan speed.
To return to mode 0: Press a front panel button, issue
an SIS command, or cycle power.
2 = limited functionality — Turn off all functions except IP,
USB, and RS-232 ports and slow fan speed. Front
panel is non-responsive. The unit responds only to SIS
viewing commands and E 0PSAV}.
To return to mode 0: Enter E0PSAV} (only
method).
