Source up-scaling
The on-board scaler on the output card provides up-scaling of video, RGB, DVI, HDMI,
and QGE 100 sources. Independent horizontal and vertical scaling is possible up to 16
times native resolution. For example, a source of 720x486 pixels can be scaled up to
approximately 11520x7776 pixels.

NOTE: Where image files need to be up-scaled, these are rendered at the appropriate
size by the graphics processor (GPU). This ensures maximum image sharpness.
Down-scaling of video, RGB, HDMI, and DVI sources is performed by a scaler on the
input cards (see Source down-scaling on page 27 for further details).
