End of infusion alarm (high priority)
At the end of the infusion, the SO
CONNECT PID pump generates an alarm.
Occlusion alarm (high priority)
The SO
CONNECT PID pump generates an occlusion alarm when it detects excess pressure in the
infusion line.
When this alarm occurs, the infusion is paused automatically.
Warning
The occlusion alarm activates when the pump detects high pressure in the infusion line. This high pressure must be eliminated to
prevent the administration of a post-occlusion bolus, which could cause serious injury.
If the occlusion alarm is triggered, you need to contact the medical personnel in charge of your treatment to know the measures
that need to be taken.
Battery low alarm (low priority)
The SO
CONNECT PID pump generates a battery low alarm when the battery life is below 30
minutes.
The infusion is not stopped when this alarm is generated.
Precautions
Replace the battery as soon as the low battery alarm occurs
After the battery has been changed, the infusion does not resume automatically. Refer to Part II infusion control to restart the
infusion.
