Post-occlusion bolus
The occlusion alarm is activated when the SO
♥
CONNECT PID pump detects high pressure in the infusion line. The high pressure must be
eliminated to prevent the accidental administration of a post-occlusion bolus to the patient, which may cause serious injury.
The volume of the post-occlusion bolus of the SO
♥
CONNECT PID pump is: 0.5 ml
Warning
▪
The volume of the post-occlusion bolus administered after an occlusion can increase depending on the components that make up
the infusion line
Electromagnetic compatibility
The information contained in this section is provided as recommendations for the proper operating of the SO
♥
CONNECT PID pump in respect
of electromagnetic compatibility. The tables presented in this section refer to the criteria of the standard IEC 60601-1-2.
Warning
▪
Mobile and RF communication devices are likely to affect the working of devices such as the
SO
♥
CONNECT PID
pump. Thus, the
SO
♥
CONNECT PID
pump must not be placed close to other devices. If that is not possible, monitor the pump to make sure that it
is operating correctly.
▪
The use of non-recommended accessories is liable to give rise to higher EM emissions or lower EM immunity of the
SO
♥
CONNECT
PID
pump. Please refer to the list of accessories.
Advice and declaration of the manufacturer: electromagnetic emissions
