• LED is normally off (i.e., clear)
• Flashes yellow when subthreshold
arcing occurs and when the HV is
out of regulation
• LED is normally green
• Turns amber for 2 seconds each
time the Arc/Out of Regulation
LED flashes amber
NOTE
Figures 5-4 and 5-6 through 5-10 do not show HVPS LEDs as they would
appear when the applicable faults have occurred. Instead, the LEDs
described in these illustrations are shown as red merely to highlight
them.

• LED is normally green when FPS
is powered up
• Turns red to indicate an ‘open’
on the filament circuit (i.e.,
filament broken or burned out;
resistance across emitter is 2.5
Ohms or greater)
• LED is green when FPS is
powered up, red when FPS is
not powered up
NOTE
The HV can remain on, even if the gun is switched off, either due to a fault or user
action.
