Refer to page 62 for the procedure for servicing the single
thermal valves.
1. Turn off the gas and disconnect power to the range.
2. Disconnect a wire connector from one of the single
thermal valve terminals.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the two terminals.
The meter should indicate a closed circuit (0 Ω.).
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
DUAL THERMAL VALVE (N.C.)
(MAIN OVEN BAKE & IR)
Refer to page 66 for the procedure for servicing the dual
thermal valve.
1. Turn off the gas and disconnect power to the range.
2. Disconnect a wire connector from each of the two dual
thermal valve (bake & IR) terminals.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the bake and IR valve
terminals. The meter should indicate a closed circuit (0
Ω.).
