1. Turn off the gas and disconnect power to the range.
2. Loosen, do not remove, the two false handle screws,
and allow the handle to drop down as far as it will go.

4. To remove the transformer:
a) Remove the two nuts from the screws and re-
move the two screws from the transformer.
b) Remove the ceramic nuts from the wires, sepa-
rate the wires, and remove the transformer pri-
mary and secondary wires.
c) Remove the nut from the ground screw and
remove the white transformer wire.
3. Remove the valve panel (see page 56 for the proce-
dure).
