1. Turn off the gas and disconnect power to the range.
2. Lift the fl ue cover from the rear of the griddle.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical
shock.
8. To remove the burner from the griddle:
a) Remove the rear bracket screw from the griddle
burner.
4. If not already done, remove the shipping screw and fl at
washer from the rear of the griddle.
5. Remove the two screws from the front of the griddle.

3. Remove the front trim from the grill and griddle (see
step 5 on page 53).
6. Lift the griddle assembly out of the range and set it on
a padded surface to protect the fi nish.
NOTE: Do not stress the capillary tube when you
lift the griddle out of the range.
7. Pull the thermostat bulb out of the griddle opening
and position it out of the way.
